Hollywood Road Boys Association
The new Hollywood Road Boys Association is anchored by the sponsorship of Printpack, Inc. and the family foundation of J. Erskine Love, Jr. Joining them thus far is WR Grace/Darex. Additional companies are needed as soon as possible.
Service Area
The area served is an old and long established low income residential area between the old Bankhead Highway (now Hollowell Drive) and Marietta Parkway in West Atlanta. Most member boys live in the Etheridge Drive, St. James Avenue and Gun Club Road neighborhoods.
Homes in the area are split between large apartment complexes and older single family housing stock, all of which are now moving toward the federal subsidized housing programs. With the closing of the large West Atlanta public housing communities of Perry Homes, Bowen Homes, Hollywood Courts and Bankhead Courts, these neighborhoods have become a growing new center of concentrated low income Atlanta residence.
We have an immediate need for 35 new workplace mentors to serve boys who have already demonstrated a clear commitment to the program.

Meeting and Scout Hub
Cleveland Electric
In addition to being a sponsor and providing mentors, Cleveland Electric is also home to meetings and the scout hub for the Hollywood Road Boy Scouts. An old metal building and open space behind their Fulton Industrial Boulevard location now has a storage trailer donated by a competitor, Fowler Electric, and fire rings for cooking and camping.
