Individual Assistance

We have found that although there are programs available to assist families in need, the boys sometimes need help to take advantage of them.

Health
The Association provides assistance with Medicaid and food stamp problems as well as with medical and dental appointments.  The Association is available to boys in times of need.

Education
An Association Chapter Director maintains relationships with the schools serving the boys in his area.  He can draw upon the boy’s mentor and scout leaders to help the boy’s family resolve academic and discipline issues.

Juvenile Justice
The Chapter Director also maintains relationships with local Police Officers, Prosecutors and Probation Officers. A Chapter Director helps navigate through the justice system by ensuring proper representation, and is sometimes able to help avoid serious problems by resolving misunderstandings.

Teen Employment
The Association seeks job opportunities and follows up with employers to ensure that boys and employers have a good work experiences.
